Air Travel
- Yampa Valley Regional Airport (in Hayden):
The Yampa Valley Regional Airport is just 22 miles from the Steamboat Ski Resort and, despite the abundance of our legendary Champagne Powder®, the aiport experiences very few diversions caused by weather.
- Denver International Airport:
Steamboat is an easy 3.5 hour drive from Denver International Airport through beautiful Colorado scenery. See below for driving directions from north.
- Bob Adams Airport (in Steamboat Springs):
Located just 5 miles from downtown Steamboat. Offering general aviation for private, corporate and charter aircraft. Twenty-seven hangers available for daily, short term, or long term rental. Driving Directions to Steamboat
- From the North:
157 miles Northwest of Denver, an easy 3 hour drive; head west on I-70 thru Eisenhower Tunnel to the Silverthorn exit #205 (67 miles), then N on CO Hwy 9 to Kremmling (37 miles), then W on US 40 (53 miles).
- From the South:
157 miles Northwest of Denver; head west on I-70 thru Eisenhower Tunnel to the Silverthorn exit, then N on CO Hwy 9 to Kremmling, then W on US 40.
- From the East:
161 miles west of Fort Collins, take Rt 14 to Rt 40 W into Steamboat Springs.
- From the West:
200 miles from Grand Jct., take I-70 E to 13 N which will connect with 40 E into Steamboat Springs -OR- I-70 E to Hwy 131 N to Hwy 40 W into Steamboat Springs.
